Davies Iyiegbu founded Goziex Technologies Limited in Lagos in 2012 as an IT consultancy — web design, graphics, and software support for local businesses. A year later, he built the GT Mobile Recharge Card Advertisement Scheme: one of the first Nigerian ad networks to sell space directly on prepaid recharge cards, reaching subscribers with no internet connection required.
That idea grew into Study in Budapest and Study in Europe — apps that let international students search universities, apply for admission, and handle visa and travel logistics from a single dashboard, while giving partner universities a way to recruit and message applicants directly. The apps drew coverage from Nigerian tech press and a mention among notable apps at Web Summit Dublin in 2015.
Today, Davies leads Goziex Technologies Limited — now focused on software development and physical advertising networks — alongside Daxgov Trading Limited, which operates the Daxgov Mart supermarket chain. The two businesses meet in Daxgov Mart Ad Bags: the recharge-card advertising idea, rebuilt for a modern retail shelf.
